Mission Pantry Organization!

Ever since my foodie friend, Nikki, introduced me to the wonderful world of CBB (cooking, baking and blogging), I’ve accumulated more and more “stuff”. My small kitchen is overflowing onto the bar area so that no one can even sit there and enjoy a meal anymore.

But remember when I posted my kitchen pics a few weeks ago?

You can see our small pantry door with the sign next to the refrigerator. Its where our water heater is discretely housed but there is empty space, albeit a weirdly shaped tiny space (26″W x 21.5D x 77″H), where we usually store the trashcan, broom and other cleaning products… well I decided it was about time to make some better use of that space. SOLUTION? shelving!

We bought the pantry shelf kit and door organizer from The Container Store.

I love my new pantry! and Todd loves that there’s no clutter of random kitchen crap everywhere. Its win-win!
