Classic Chicken Parmesan
It’s me and my hubs’ 2 monthaversary today! w00t w00t! Its definitely something to celebrate so as a surprise for my hubs I am making his favorite dinner – chicken parmesan+spaghetti!

Makes 4 servings
Calories/serving = ~300
4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup garlic powder
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 3/4 cup spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
a large bowl or plastic storage bag
a glass baking dish
> Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
> Mix crumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder together in bowl or plastic bag
> Rinse chicken breasts and coat with beaten egg
> Cover with bread crumb mixture
> Put in pan and set timer for 45 minutes
> After baking for 30 minutes, pull out chicken and cover each breast in sauce. Return to oven for 10 more minutes.
> Last 5 minutes, add the mozzarella cheese so that it will melt. Do not worry about skimping on the cheese.
** TIP: served with marinara pasta, bread sticks and side salad

Chicken was kinda bland for me. Its probably the “chef” and not the recipe though ;)
