NFR: Ten years strong…
March 25, 2008
T and I met our freshmen year of college on a cold December night over a James Bond movie. We officially started dating March 20, 1998. Ever since then we have considered that our dating anniversary. Now that we’ve been married for almost 7 months, he says that he can’t be held responsible for remembering 2 anniversaries so the dating one was dropped but I still give myself a moment every March 20th to reminisce about the little things…

They say that opposites attract. Apparently. LOL.
oh wait. We both like basketball! Thats something!
When people ask me why our relationship has lasted longer than the average marriage I really don’t know what to say. Its not some magic solution that I can give you. We have our ups and downs but I can honestly say after 10+ years, I love him more everyday. He is my teacher, best friend, courage, strength, guidance, heart…
My dear friend, Nikki, said it best:
“I think what’s most important is that you both love each other and you support each others’ passions no matter how different they may be…”

I wub you guys and I just want to say I’m the perfect third to your marriage because I love everything both of you love, except basket ball. Maybe that’s why we get along I’m C+T all in one :P

CAITLIN, I revel in the fact that we are so different. I have learned alot from T over the years and being a teacher he loves to teach me. So… when you and the boy toy tying the knot? huh huh? no pressure right? haha
NINA, haha thats hilarious! I thought about that too but T was set on getting married in the summer b/c he’d be done with school. July worked out the best and I wouldn’t have met you either right? :)

Hm, tell Nikki to be quiet, screw the name change. I still have my name and am perfectly fine with it. My hubby and I are exact opposites too~ I think I prob agree with your hubby’s picks more than yours tho, Brit? rly? Except for the cupcake of course! ;-)

TW, I do want to change my name but I dread going to the SS and DMV office. But I promised T I would get it done before our 1 year anniversary… so I have 4 months. Yes… really… Britney but pre-Kfed though. I do like other music but I’d say PJ is about as far as you can get from Britney right? haha.

I hate to agree with Nikki (LOL) but I cringe every time I see you love Britney! It seriously makes me want to vomit. T needs to give you some lessons on music. He obviously knows whats up.

wow! 10 years! That’s awesome:D I don’t get teary eyed, but if I did, this prolly would have done it lol DId you ever read my post about how Ben and I met ect.? If you’re in the mood for cheese, that’d be my recommendation! And talking about opposites attracting lol
Also, though I’m not a Britney fan, I have been known to shake my bum to some pretty embarrassing pop and hip hop at the club, so I sympathize.
